FOR WORKING TATTOOISTS & STUDIOS
Help apprentices arrive with the right foundations.
Train 2 Tattoo gives aspiring apprentices a drawing-first, BBP-first vocabulary before powered practice. It supports the studio route; it never pretends to replace it.
Applications are reviewed by a person. Approval is not automatic and payment is never required to apply.
Credibility first
We review the artist or studio’s public work, professional practice and approach to supervision before issuing any approved partner link or code.
Transparent reward
Any learner saving and partner commission will be stated clearly in the individual partner agreement and tracked to the approved link or code. No hidden mark-up or pay-to-endorse requirement.
THE RELEASE STANDARD
What you should expect us to teach.
- Drawing first.Observation, composition, line, value and design-for-the-body before machine confidence.
- BBP and infection control first.Standard precautions, cross-contamination, sharps and exposure response before powered practice.
- Training media with oversight.High-quality synthetic skin as the primary practice medium; fruit only for limited form exercises; biological material treated as biological material.
- A legitimate studio pathway.Local rules, insurance, hygiene, registration and the mentor’s observed judgement always outrank an online completion record.
WHO WE APPROVE
A referral should mean something.
Good fit
- Publicly identifiable working tattooist or established studio
- Demonstrable hygienic professional practice
- Support for drawing and safety before skin
- Willingness to describe the course honestly
Not a fit
- Home or kitchen tattoo promotion
- Claims that a certificate makes someone client-ready
- Fabricated experience, urgency or earning promises
- Bulk coupon or voucher sites
